Bring the drawing into its geographic context.
Start with a clean PNG or JPEG.
Trace the lines. Make the changes. Own the result.
A clean drawing is your starting point.

A CLEAR PATH FROM PLAN TO MAP
A focused workflow that keeps you in control of the result.
Start with a flat, high-contrast PNG or JPEG of a single floor. Clean lines make a better starting point.
Find an address, choose the right match, and verify the geographic center of your drawing.
Use a known distance to set the scale. Adjust rotation and check the placement against your reference.
Preview repairs, refine snapped geometry, and draw named room polygons with calibrated measurements.
Save your revision and export lines, room polygons, and room properties as GeoJSON. Verify alignment in your destination tool.
Available to invited testers using synthetic plans. Public enrollment and real charging remain disabled.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Clear expectations make better maps.
Visit the field guide ↗A flat, high-contrast, black-line PNG or JPEG of one floor, on a white or transparent background. Use a clean drawing that you have permission to process. PDF, CAD, perspective photos, and distorted scans are outside the current scope.
Yes. Draw a polygon, name the room, and select its type. Area and perimeter are calculated from your scale and included in exported room properties. Rooms are created and reviewed by you; MapNib does not automatically infer rooms, wall thickness, or routing. Measurements depend on calibration and are not survey-certified.
A possible gap is a suggestion for review. Preview the proposed repair and choose whether to apply it or keep the opening. Overlapping room warnings also need your review. Undo is available while editing.
You supply a measured distance, a geographic center, and a clockwise rotation. Placement must be checked against a trusted reference. Automatic georeferencing and survey-grade accuracy are outside the current scope.
The output is a GeoJSON FeatureCollection of LineStrings and drawn Polygon areas in WGS 84 longitude and latitude. Room properties include identifiers, names, types, area, and perimeter, alongside scale and provenance metadata. Check your destination tool’s support and verify the imported geometry and alignment. Specific integrations are not yet validated.
